Happy First Father's Day!

I know all of the mugs and t-shirts in the stores say 'World's Best Dad', but I truly believe Ivy has been blessed with the World's Best Dad!!  Adam is such a natural and so good with her! I've never seen a little girl light up the way Ivy does when she sees her Daddy! Happy First Father's Day! We love you and are so grateful for everything you do for us!

Random

Here are a couple videos from today:

Another pic from Suzanne

Last week we found a Nuk sippy cup that Ivy does really well with. Byebye bottles!

Ivy's new favorite thing is climbing.  She loves to climb over me and to try to climb over the arms of the couch.  She pulled herself up to standing once today while trying to climb over me.

I love these little hands, especially the dimples!

We leave for Colorado tomorrow!!
Ivy is quickly taking over our suitcase. :-)

Lock Up Your Cabinets!

Ivy is getting more and more mobile everyday.  I think it's time to babyproof!

Adam had Tuesday off, so we went to one of our favorite restaurants, Joe's Farm Grill.  They grow most if not all of their veggies right behind the restaurant in their garden.

They have some of the best salads and malts! Poor Ivy, eyeing up our food.

Here is another picture that Suzanne shared.

Dress Up

My friend Suzanne asked to photograph Ivy to practice with some lighting. It's so fun having photographer friends.  It feels like we're playing 'dress up' when I go over there and dig through all of her cute rompers and headbands.  Ivy is such a good sport!

First Week of Summer Break

I'm so excited to be off for the summer!  Here's what we've been up to...

I've been making and freezing lots of baby food.
My favorite so far is banana/sweet potato/cinnamon mmm!
Steamed zucchini puree anyone?

It's been fun to eat our lunches together

We had only chilly morning where we got to bundle up for our stroll.
Other than that it's been hot, hot, hot - mid 90's to 105

Our friends' son Henry was baptized so we went to church with them and then to a party at their house.  Ivy's been fighting a head cold hence the red eyes.

On our way to Henry's house, too cool for school

On Memorial Day we went out to eat at Big Earl's in Cave Creek.

We've been trying out lots of different sippy cups.  So far she gets frustrated with them after just a couple minutes.  I'm not sure if it's because it's too hard, it's not coming as fast as she thinks it should, because it's not milk... ???  We'll keep practicing :-)

Ivy and I went to Mommy & Me Yoga.
It was really fun!  As soon as I put Ivy on the mat she did 'downward facing dog' which she's never done before - no joke!

And now she does 'downward facing dog' everywhere!!

Even during 'nap time'

Sooo we bought a new playmat for our little gymnast
