Happy New Year!

2011 was a great year! We have so much to be thankful for. It's amazing to see the changes Ivy is making already, and we're so excited to watch her grow in this new year.

Ivy is starting to give us smiles! So far we haven't been able to truly capture them on our slow camera though.

She's staying in tummy time longer. She is lifting her head higher and is able to hold it up longer too. Look at that focus!

She's growing and losing hair. Right now she sports a 'party in the back' look

She really looks at us when we're talking now

She's also eating more; we think it goes straight to those cheeks and thighs. :-)

Best Friends

What a great week - my best friends, Molly and Kayce, came to visit! This was Ivy's first time meeting auntie Kayce. Of course we hung out around home a lot crafting and watching movies, but we were able to get out for facials and a little shopping too. Thank you for all your help! We miss you already!!

Footprint Butterflies

This was baby Ivy's first of hopefully many crafts with mom!  These Footprint Butterflies were Christmas presents for her grandparents.

First I painted some blank canvases with the enamel and acrylic paint I had lying around.

 She was a good sport at first...

 but then had had enough!

Baby's 1st Christmas

Although we couldn't make it back to Michigan this year for Christmas, our siblings were able to spend it with us here in Arizona. We had a great day! We woke up and had a crockpot breakfast casarole, opened stockings, read the Christmas story from Luke, opened gifts, skyped with family, watched funny youtube videos, and went to the Holt's for dinner, games, and a white elephant gift exchange.

I know I can be doing a lot more for those less fortunate than myself.

When shopping I should ask myself more often, "Is this a NEED or a WANT?"

Free Photo Shoots
