4 Months Old

Ivy is very wiggly, so it is getting more and more challenging to take her monthly picture with her dolls. We didn't get a great picture but managed to get one of her looking at the camera and not making a goofy face or trying to eat her dolls. I thought the outtakes were pretty funny, especially her scowl in #6!

It's Raining, It's Pouring,...

my baby is snoring.

We're having a thunderstorm!! It even hailed for a minute this morning! I have always loved storms... when I'm inside with a good book and homemade soup. Living in Arizona makes them seem more special because it rarely even sprinkles. The view from my patio right now:

Magic? Possibly! Ivy is back to sleeping like a champ in Baby Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit.

We think she looks like a baby sumo wrestler.

Leg lifts

It's not very often that Adam and I both have a weekday off together, but this Tuesday we did! We made a big breakfast, went for a jog, played some games of horse at the park, and went out for frozen yogurt.

Dancing Crane

Jim & Cathy, my parents' friends in Brimley, Michigan have a coffee shop, Dancing Crane Coffee House. It's such a fun place to go and visit and play board games. I always make sure to stop in for a Doctor Smoothie when I'm home. Thank you for the cute onesie and moccasins!

Spring Break

Starting today I'm officially on Spring Break! Plans?

1. Collecting and refinishing 'junk' for our May 5th Vintage Market

At $10 this cabinet was a steal. We so need a truck!

2. Enjoying every second with this little cutie

Ivy loves practicing sitting up for a few minutes in her bumbo.

She rolled from her back to front this week, so we stopped swaddling her. She's usually a great sleeper (about 9 hours at night) but now has been waking up throughout the night. I'm thankful for time to nap during the day while she's getting used to sleeping without a swaddle at night. I'm considering buying her a Magic Sleepsuit.

3. Spring Cleaning & Organizing

4. Tax Prep

I was so bad about recording business mileage, so I have a lot of back tracking to do!

5. A day or two trip to Sedona or Flagstaff

Sunshine

We spent most of our weekend outside in this gorgeous 80 degree weather. On Friday Ivy and I went to the Junk Restore sale in Mesa to sell some things with the other Junk in the Trunk girls. We were able to pass out a lot of flyers and recruited some great new venders for our May Vintage Market.

On Saturday we went downtown to the Melrose Street Fair and Antique Car Show, again to pass out flyers and recruit new venders. There was live music, food trucks, and a lot of booths selling unique handmade items. The vibe downtown is so fun - Ivy even met her first male cross dresser ha! She gave everyone big smiles from her stroller.

It's official folks, we have a little thumb-sucker. She just figured this out this weekend. I was not a thumb-sucker but her Daddy was. Lets pray for no braces!

Now that she's out of her bassinet and in her 'big girl crib', she likes to spin during the night.

but she quickly changed her mind

I bought this suit for Ivy a long time ago - actually I bought it before I found out I was pregnant because I thought it was just too cute. I knew if I never had a little girl I could give it as a gift. I bought my suit a few weeks ago forgetting about Ivy's suit and thought it was so funny how much they matched when I pulled them out! Now I just need to add a tutu to mine... kidding!
