This has happened to me twice now. The first time, I paid $5 for more space through Google. The second time, I just started using Flickr for uploading my photos and then copying the HTML code on my blog posts. I have even gone to Picasa web albums where the photos are stored and deleted ones that I didn't use to free up more space.
All of that to say- you may not have to leave this blog!
