This Week

I painted, distressed and recovered an old chair.

did a little thrifting

I went to a class tonight to learn how to use my new camera.  We're having a really cool monsoon tonight but unfortunately capturing lightening isn't something I've learned yet.

Ivy seems to be feeling better.  She is starting to eat more finger foods.  It's so cute to see her use two hands to try to get a bite into her mouth. 

I also love how she's using her little finger to point at things.

 We went out to eat at Cibo

and Ivy made this 'stink face' at our waitress. Silly girl

And get this... she's climbing the stairs by herself. Yikes!

5 Years Ago Today...

I married the man of my dreams!! It does not feel like it's been five years.  I am so blessed to have such a supportive, sweet husband.  I woke up to a scavenger hunt leading me to an awesome brand new camera!!!! He saved his modeling money so I wouldn't know.  I am so excited to use it!

Ivy loves exploring and it seems like she is trying to figure out how things work. Lately she loves buckles

and pulling books off the shelves

We drove up to the shops near our  house to walk around one night and we ran into Doug so he joined us. Ivy had a lot of fun at the pet store.

Miss Ivy has her first ear infection. Poor baby. She's been sleeping propped up in her stroller.

Thankfully our little monkey is on the mend.

Sunday night Theresa came over for take-out and movies, so fun :-)

Ivy was sick Wednesday. Our little girl never stops moving so we knew she didn't feel well when she stopped to cuddle with her puppy.
